Every day, Dale Carson, John’s son, would take the train from Eugene to Marcola to work in the shop. In 1939, seeking to work closer to home, Dale relocated Carson Saw Shop to Eugene.
The business flourished under Dale’s leadership, thanks to his passion for precision tools and exceptional customer service. Later, his sons, Fredrick and Clark Carson, took the helm. They expanded the shop’s services, offering comprehensive sharpening for lawn mowers, carbide saws, chainsaws, knives, blades, band saws, circular saws, router bits, garden tools, and more.
